Her musical style can be described as contemporary classical, though she
has written in many different styles and genres, ranging from classical quartets to
Christian pop songs. The most central part of her life is her faith. This effects her
music as well, as it has steered her towards writing more religious based music
and striving through her music to create art that will bring people closer to God.
Her dream in life is to write music that will inspire and benefit people even after
her death.
Besides music, her second passion is literature and creative writing. In
2024, she self-published a historical fiction novel titled “To Give and to Gain.”
Furthermore, she has written articles for the website Orthodox Ethos. She hopes
to continue writing and explore the intersections between language and music. In
the spring of 2024, she studies abroad in Cardiff, Wales at the Royal College of
Music and Drama. This opportunity greatly exposed her to electronic
composition and especially electro-acoustic music, as she took private lessons in
both notated and electronic composition. Having lived in Greece, New York,
Arizona, Wales and Tennessee, she has acquired diverse cultural knowledge.
Since December of 2024, she has been working as the Nashville
Administrator for the Society of Composers and Lyricists, which has made her
more active in the world of composing for media. She has also worked since 2021
as a videographer and graphic designer for Uncut Mountain Press, an Orthodox
Christian publishing house. Finally, since 2022 she has been teaching piano, and
has taught both in Arizona and Tennessee.
Her upcoming projects include working on the music for the documentary
Christianities? by Holy Wisdom Films, working with director Scott McKinlay on
the documentary Taking Root in the City, and scoring the student film Uprooted:
Tapping into Nashville’s Stories of Resilience. Finally, she is working on an
oratorio on biblical texts on the theme of repentance.
Anastasia’s music blends contemporary classical styles with spiritual and emotional depth, often drawing on sacred and liturgical themes to bring listeners closer to God.
Her compositions are frequently performed at Belmont University, featured on Greek television, and shared online through upcoming media and film projects.
